Resin Infusion Distribution Netting
- Product description: Resin Infusion Distribution Netting is used in resin infusion projects to distribute the resin across and throughout the laminate.
Resin Infusion Distribution Net can also be used selectively to increase resin flow to certain areas of the mould and increase the speed with which the project infuses. Infusion mesh can be used in multiple layers where even greater resin flow is required.
DLike most other elements of vacuum bagging or resin infusion "stack" infusion mesh cannot be reused once resin has flown through it and therefore should be considered a disposable consumable of the process.
The tight, low profile crisscross pattern of the infusion mesh distributes a controlled, predictable flow of resin throughout the laminate efficiently and with little waste. The resin will flow slightly slower compared to the red infusion mesh. The Resin Infusion Distribution Net is typically used as a single layer and is placed on top of the peel ply layer. Where even greater resin flow is required, the infusion mesh can be used in multiple layers. Resin Distribution Mesh does not fray when cut or roll up at the ends. It is compatible with polyester, vinyl-ester and epoxy resins and is suitable in vacuum infusion applications up to 302°F (150°C).
